What has happened to Aston Villa this season?

As a loyal supporter of Aston Villa it upsets me to see how poorly we are playing this season, now with Bent and Dunne out for the rest of the season i can only see Villa going one direction and that is backwards.
Lucky for us there appears to be three worse teams in the PL this season.
The Gingertosser had no clue when he managed The Noses and their approach of 10 at the back and one up top deservedly got them relegated.
We will follow next season should there not be a miracle.
We have a wage bill twice that of Spurs and have just posted losses of £54M. Now look at us and look at Spurs.
It's not that Randy hasn't got form. Just look at the Cleveland Browns. A couple of years flirting with the top tier in the NFL and then the tap gets turned off and there's no money.
